Well done to everyone who participated in the three weekends of the Cheshire County Championships at Macclesfield and Stockport.

We had 25 Swimmers Qualify for the 2025 Cheshire County Championships.18 Swimmers competed and 7 decided not to enter this year. 

Competing in 2025 were: Anthony Wawrzyniak, Eloise Edwards, Isabella Cranney, Taylor Fishwick, Amelia Williamson, Dylan Taylor, Edward Marsh, Kevin Chiu, Elva Chiu, Nefeli Kalampoki, Freya Karaski, Bella Mai Fishwick, Jacob Agate, Matthew Raley, Dan Houghton Butler, Olivia Hyland, Gabriella Houghton and Mackinlay Houghton.

Ben Clayton, Beth Howard Hughes, Josh Howard Hughes, Sam Hyland, Connor O’Sullivan, Jack Hannah Holland, and Kian Karaski qualified but didn’t compete.

Over the 3 weekends we achieved the following medals:

Silver:

· Anthony (50 Free, 100 Breast & 100 IM)

· Dan (50 Fly, 100 Back & 50 Breast)

· Jacob (50 Back)

· Mackinlay (50m Breast & 100 Fly)

Bronze

· Anthony (50 Fly)

· Kevin Chui (50 Fly, 100m Fly)

· Daniel Houghton-Butler (50 Free, 50 Back, 100 Free, 100 Fly, 200 Back, 200IM)

· Mackinlay Houghton (100IM, 200 IM)

· Eloise Edwards (50 Back)

Overall, in this year’s competition, we have 21 claimed Medals ( 9 Silvers and 12 Bronze) and we had 55 Cheshire County Finalists (equivalent of a Top 8 Finish) 

We had an outstanding 75 personal best times achieved in 2025!

In the Team Points tables, we finished in 13 th  place in the Wallace Trophy on 47 points (11th on 23 in 2024) and 8 th place in the Hugh Laughland Trophy on 242 points (9th on  137 points in 2024).
