Craig Gibbons Visit
We held a very successful workshop with Great Britain International Swimmer Craig Gibbons at Kingsway on Wednesday evening. Craig, who represented Great Britain at the World Short Course Championships at Manchester MEN Arena in 2008, is an established international and a very successful Sprinter with a 22.27 Short Course personal best time for 50m Freestyle which is very quick indeed !!
26 Year old Craig, who swims for Loughborough University under GB Coach Dave McNulty, spent over four hours at the club, taking training, passing on hints and tips and teaching us all how to swim front crawl backwards !!. All in all a really enjoyable evening and an opportunity for Craig to increase his fan base and number of followers on twitter !!.
